Significant Shift in the Steel Industry

The steel industry in 2018 is experiencing a significant shift in the market. Due to increased raw material costs and a reduction in imports driven by the recently announced tariffs on foreign steel, North American Steel Mills are increasing prices and experiencing longer lead times. The steel prices are expected to remain volatile and will continue to shift until further notice.

Please be mindful of possible extended lead times when placing your orders. You are welcome to contact Vulcan Wire regarding any sharp increases on our steel products. All orders are subject to product availability and approval based on historical buying patterns.
