According to California Proposition 65 (also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986), all suppliers of consumer goods with products containing potentially harmful chemicals must provide a specific warning.
The chemicals covered under Proposition 65 are believed by the State of California to have the potential to cause cancer or reproductive harm. A full list of the chemicals included under the law can be found here.
Our wire products contain Nickel and Lead, which are included within the Proposition 65 list of potentially dangerous chemicals.

We are attaching yellow warning labels on all of our wire products. We also have the warning posted in our office and warehouse to notify employees who are exposed to the products. The warning reads:
Warning. This product can expose you to chemicals including Nickel (metallic), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, and Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
The Proposition 65 warnings included on our products should not be covered, obscured or altered. They should remain visible at all times.
